The UV-Shield Hood (UPF 40) has been embraced by people who work outdoors for extended periods such as in construction, pipeline maintenance, chimney/air duct cleaning, asphalt paving, and metal scrap yards. Its black pigments and dense fiber-web structure block 97% UV rays in addition to its superior effectiveness of shielding against airborne debris. In contrast, the conventional balaclava having porous knitted structure allows the debris and UV light to pass through the spaces between yarns, especially in stretched form.
The full-cover hood provides maximum coverage, forms air-pocket around nose and mouth and a tight fit around wearer's eyes. It can be worn independently, over a mask, in conjunction with a respirator, or as a liner under a hardhat, helmet, or face-shield.
The eye-opening of open-face hood can be pulled down to cover just the mouth and chin, allowing the respirator to direct contact with the skin.
The case contains 8 x 50Pk (50 Hoods are packed in a polybag and enclosed in a white dispenser box, 8 boxes/case), total 400pcs/case.
